GETTING AROUND & LOCAL RESOURCES IN KEY WEST
Getting to Key West is as easy as jumping a plane to the Key West Airport (EYW), hopping a ferry or driving from Miami and Fort Lauderdale along one of the most scenic roads in the world. Once you’re here, seeing as how the whole island is just two by four miles long, it’s never very far to anywhere in Key West. If you’re staying in Old Town, it doesn’t take much more than your feet, or a leisurely bicycle ride, to reach your destination. There are many motorized options as well, including scooter and golf cart rentals, cars, taxis and public busses.
